Power Point notes

    1. It gives you everything you need to produce a professional-looking presentation
    2. The blank presentation option allows you to build your own unique presentation
    3. Objects include such things as titles, charts, graphics, or bulleted lists that you might want to place on a slide.
    4. The Title Bar displays the name of the program you are currently using and the name of the presentation you are working on.
    5. The title bar is always at the top of a windows program
    6. The Standard Toolbar contains icons for some of the most commonly used commands.
    7. Some commands are saving, opening, and printing.
    8. You can add items to your place holder to save time in creating your presentation
    9. To quickly switch power point views, simply click on the view buttons
    10. The slide sorter pane shows small representations of each slide of your presentation.
    11. You can drag a thumbnail and place in which order you want it in

    12. The Menu Bar displays a list of menus that you use to give commands to PowerPoint.
    13. When you click on a menu name, it displays a list of commands
    14. If you were looking for the most commonly used formatting tools, you would look in the formatting toolbar.
    15. The slide plane displays the slides one at a time
    16. To add a new slide you could click the new slide button in the formatting toolbar or click new slide from the insert menu
    17. The clip art button is in the insert menu.
    18. From there you can add pictures to your presentation
    19. Another way is to insert from an existing document from your computer
    20. PowerPoint displays the picture on the slide with eight sizing handles surrounding it and a green rotating handle. A picture is selected when you see the handles. To select a picture that does not have handles displayed,6.P click it.
    21. View the slide show by clicking on the “Slide Show” button.
    22. PowerPoint always starts from whatever slide is currently being viewed.
    23. You can print from the print preview window, but it is also important to learn how to use the regular print command as well.
    24. PowerPoint automatically selects “Slides” as its default printing format.
    25. You should periodically save your work so it won't be lost
    26. To print you can also press "F5"
    27. The easiest way to add text is to use text boxes, which you can select from the drawing toolbar.
